Each mug is hand-painted, featuring a unique serial number (1-8000), has the Moomin 80th Anniversary stamp on the bottom and it also has the artisan's initials, ensuring that no mugs are entirely identical.

The home mug comes in a designed gift box with the Moominhouse illustration on the front.

The first Home mug was given to the spouse of Finland’s President, Suzanne Innes-Stubb while the second one was given to Tove Jansson’s niece Sophia Jansson.

Throughout 2025 a selected group of Moomin fans will have a chance to win the hand-painted Home mug. Lotteries will be held five times throughout the year from December 2024 to December 2025 - so keep an eye out for each new opportunity.
