This Privacy Policy describes how Nordic Mugs operated by Nordic KVFD ApS (organisation number: 44 89 45 72) and its affiliates ("Nordic Mugs ," "we," "our" or "us") collect, use, and share information in connection with your use of our websites (including www.nordicmugs.com), services, and applications (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") does not apply to information our customers may process when using our Services.
We may collect and receive information about users of our Services ("users," "you," or "your") from various sources, including: (i) information you provide through your user account on the Services (your "Account") if you register for the Services; (ii) your use of the Services; and (iii) from third-party websites, services, and partners.

Account information
Some information is required to create an account on our Services. Depending on the sign-up method of your choice this can be your name, email address, username, phone number and connection to Facebook or Apple. This is the only information you have to provide to create an account with us.
Information from Third-party services
When you sign up as a user by linking your Facebook account or Apple ID you share a reference to the chosen provider. Depending on the method selected you may also share your name, email address, profile picture, language and friend list. You can stop sharing the information from the third-party service by removing our access to that service at any time.
You can also give us access to personal data when you create or add information to your listings, in the messages you send with Customer Support or other users, or in reviews you give us or other users.
Card and bank information
Some features on Nordic Mugs enable transactions between you and us or you and other Nordic Mugs users. If you activate these features you must provide certain information for identification and verification, such as your name, address, date of birth, card number, bank account IBAN number, card expiration date, and CVV code.
This information is stored with a third-party, Stripe, which handles payments for Nordic Mugs. The information is encrypted and sent to the card network, which if approved returns a token which is a random string of characters that is used for engaging in transactions without exposing your card information.
Nordic Mugs does not store this information on our servers, we only store references to the information stored with Stripe. You can remove the tokens from your account from the account settings or by deleting your account. Note that third-party payment processors may retain this information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms, or as required by law.
Additional information
To help improve your experience or enable certain features of the Services you may choose to provide us with additional information such as your phone number, address, date of birth, banking information or other information you provide to our Customer Support if you require assistance.
You may also connect with friends on the Services or invite friends who have not yet joined by providing their email addresses or by accessing social media accounts.
If you participate in a survey, contest or promotion we store the information you submit, which may include your name, contact information and message.
Information We Collect When You Use Our Services.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. In addition, when you use our Services, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

If you terminate your Account, any public activity on your Account prior to deletion may remain stored on our servers and may remain accessible to the public.

Your ability to access and correct your information may be temporarily limited where access and correction could: inhibit Nordic Mugs's ability to comply with a legal obligation; inhibit Nordic Mugs's ability to investigate, make or defend legal claims; result in disclosure of personal information about a third party; or result in breach of a contract or disclosure of trade secrets or other proprietary business information belonging to Nordic Mugs or a third party.
If you wish to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, you can do so at any time by emailing info@nordicmugs.com. In addition, you can object to the processing of your personal information, ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information, or request portability of your personal information. Again, you can exercise these rights by emailing info@NordicMugs.com. You have the right to opt-out of marketing communications we send you at any time. You can exercise this right by clicking on the "unsubscribe" or "opt-out" link in the marketing emails we send you. To opt-out of other forms of marketing, please contact us by emailing info@NordicMugs.com. Similarly, if we have collected and process your personal information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect
The lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent. We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
You can use some of the features of the Services without registering, thereby limiting the type of information that we collect.
You may unsubscribe from receiving certain promotional emails from us. If you wish to do so, simply follow the instructions found at the end of the email. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still contact you for informational, transactional, account-related, or similar purposes.
Many browsers have an option for disabling cookies, which may prevent your browser from accepting new cookies or enable selective use of cookies. Please note that, if you choose not to accept cookies, some features and the personalization of our Services may no longer work for you. You will continue to receive advertising material but it will not be tailored to your interests.
As long as your account is active we will store your personal information, listings, message history, likes and other information that you register. You can choose to delete your Nordic Mugs user account at any time. In that case your user profile will no longer be accessible on our service as an immediate action. We will keep your information for up to 120 days as this information may be required by government agencies or for resolving disputes.
Similarly, listings are kept for up to 120 days when you delete them, but they will not be accessible by others. The account and associated information may also be washed for personal data and be used for analytical purposes.
Please note that messages sent to other users will still be available for those users, even after your account has been deleted.
If an account has been involved in fraud we may store personal information about that account permanently in order to preventing from accessing our Services at a later time. This processing is based on our legitimate interest.
Your Rights
We want you to be in control of how your personal information is used by us. You can exercise these rights in the following ways:
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
You can inform us of any changes to your personal information, or if you want us to correct any of the personal information we hold about you

Where we are using your personal data on the bases of your consent you are entitled to withdraw that consent at any time. Where we use process your personal information on the bases of our legitimate interest you have the right to object at any time to that use of your personal information.

We always aim to obtain a fair resolution of any complaint or concern you might have about our use of personal information. However, if you do not believe that we have been able to assist you with your complaint or concern you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in your country. In Denmark this is Datatilsynet.
Your choices
If you want to access or edit profile information you can do this from the settings page in the Nordic Mugs application. If you want to change your name, please contact us at info@nordicmugs.com for assistance. If you wish to close your account, please follow the instructions on our support pages.
You can view and edit your consents from within the Privacy center, accessible from the settings menu in the Nordic Mugs application. If you cannot access these settings you can contact us at info@nordicmugs.com. We will answer any request to access or delete your personal data as soon as possible and within 30 days.
Data Protection Officer
Nordic Mugs has a dedicated Data Protection Officer to ensure safe and sound handling of personal data. The scheme is initated by Datatilsynet. You can contact Nordic Mugs's Data Protection Officer by emailing info@nordicmugs.com.
Nordic Mugs does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, and children under 13 are prohibited from using our Services. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, you can alert us at info@NordicMugs.com.
This Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time, so please review it frequently. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our websites. If we materially change the ways in which we use or share personal information previously collected from you through our Services, we will notify you through our Services, by email, or other communication.
Nordic Mugs is a global business. We may transfer personal information to countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. When we transfer your personal information to other countries, we will protect that information as described in this Privacy Policy.
